The Shelfies Lineup

Sep 16, 2026
Our biggest event of the year is back! Every September we host a competition to find the next great local product. It's a win for everyone: guests meet the makers and sample new products, vendors connect with customers and peers, and our community gets together IRL for a real good time.

This is your chance to be a part of the process and pick what goes into your favorite neighborhood bodega. Vote for your favorite and the winner gets stocked in our shops. Mark your calendars and get ready to snack, vote, and hang with us!

Event details:

⏰ Friday, Sept 18 from 3-7p
📍 Ándale Market - Lincoln Park, 725 W Wrightwood Ave

Meet the Vendors

Nina's Noms
@officialninasnoms
Angelina Froes

"Nina’s Noms started with one mission: make really, really good pão de queijo and get more people eating it.

What began in my kitchen slowly turned into something much bigger. One store became a few, then a few became more, and suddenly this little Brazilian cheese bread I grew up loving had its own bags, flavors, freezer space, and a life of its own.

We’re proudly rooted in Brazil, but Nina’s Noms has always been about more than recreating something nostalgic. We’re building a food brand for people who care deeply about delicious food. Real ingredients, bold flavors, no sad “good enough” products, and absolutely no reason gluten-free food should taste like a punishment.

Brazil gave us pão de queijo. We’re just making sure a whole lot more people get to fall in love with it."

Amouze Mousse
@amouzemousse
Margaret Unetich

"As Francophiles we recognized that in the US, we do not enjoy chocolate mousse as an every day dessert. We set out to change that. Amouze Mousse is built with the belief that every day should be a celebration and that when you indulge, you should be able to feel good about doing so because the ingredients used are made with integrity and quality."

Aire
@drinkair
Hector Diaz

"Aire is a Mexican Sparkling Tonic, a non-alcoholic beverage that combines real fruit and familiar Mexican flavors with functional botanicals. We currently have two flavors: Hibiscus con Limón and Mango con Chile de Árbol.

Aire arrives from the team behind In Good Spirits, Chicago's longest standing non-alcoholic beverage specialty shop, founded in 2023. Mexican-American owned, we release Aire with our own unique perspective. One that is unapologetically Mexican, shaped by the kitchens from our childhoods, combined with rituals picked up in adulthood."

Tom Foolery
@tomfoolerychocolates
Garrett Goehring

"Before there was Tom Foolery, there was Tom Meldrum, my grandfather and proprietor of the Sugar Bowl in Massillon, OH in the 1950s and 1960s and one of the biggest Tom Fools I know. Inspired by him and the Sugar Bowl, I felt drawn to create a modern chocolate brand that was approachable, fun, and tasty as a way to bring joy to the Chicagoland area. We offer chocolate bars and bonbons handcrafted right here in Chicago that are sure to bring a smile to your face."

Sidekick Ferments
@sidekickferments
Jennifer Yoon

"My partner, Alex, and I started fermenting our own foods together over a decade ago. What started as a curiosity in our own home kitchen turned into small business three years ago. Sidekick has been a means for both my partner and I to reconnect with foods we both grew up with while also highlighting one of the oldest methods of food preservation."

Broda
@drinkbroda
Alek Szczupak

"Broda is our family's Polish flavored vodka recipe taught to us by our immigrant uncle. We are focused on transparency and ingredient quality, bringing the freshest possible flavors to the American spirits market.
Continuing my family tradition and sharing it with the rest of the world inspired me to start by business. I also am a stickler when it comes to ingredient lists and when I learned the lack of transparency in the alcohol world I became very passionate about creating a liquid people can feel better about consuming. We are proud to use the ingredients we use."

Rara Real Sugar
@rararealsugar
Marc-Philip Brenninkmeijer

"Life is full of sweet moments. From your morning coffee to your birthday cake, sugar is at the heart of many of those moments. That’s why we’re all about what we call The Sweet Life. We provide sustainably produced, all natural sweeteners so that you can savor those moments in a conscious way and treat them with the respect they deserve."

Royce + Reign
@_roycereign
Jessica Lang

"Royce+Reign was born from a love of hospitality, craft cocktails, and creating memorable experiences. After more than a decade in Chicago’s restaurant industry, I saw an opportunity to reimagine the ritual of a great cocktail in an unexpected form by creating premium, zero-proof cookies inspired by iconic drinks like the Old Fashioned, Espresso Martini, and Margarita."

Soolie
@sooliesoju
Julia Fischer

"
Soolie is a canned soju brand on a mission to celebrate soju, Korea's national drink, as a spirit worth drinking. We are taking the recognizable elements of soju - its fruitiness, non carbonation, and mid-ABV - and making it into a more convenient, canned format using all natural ingredients to create a cleaner, just-sweet-enough taste."

Omen
@omen.oil
Zach Parkes

"Omen is the edgier, moodier, spookier side of olive oil. 100% Koroneiki, PDO-certified, from ancient Cretan groves that have been continuously tended to since the Minoans were pressing oil on Crete thousands of years ago. We're a Chicago-based, family-run import business, built on relationships that go back years to the old country.

Most of the olive oil category looks the same, bottle after bottle, so we built something different: true affordable luxury with a story and a brand people actually want on their counter, not just in their pantry. We're Chicagoans and that shows up in the brand too — grittier, direct, but still approachable to the curious consumer."
