Chocodates are a popular bite-sized sweet treat made by stuffing a pitted Arabian date with a whole roasted almond and coating it in rich milk, dark, or white chocolate. The original brand was created in Dubai in 1992 by Chocodate, but many food brands and home cooks now make similar chocolate-covered date confections.
What They Are Made Of
Arabian Dates: Naturally sweet and chewy, providing a caramel-like base and fiber.
Almonds: A crunchy, roasted whole nut tucked inside the center.
Chocolate: An outer shell of Belgian or premium dark/milk chocolate
